100% Garnacha from old bush vines (50-70 years) planted on granitic sandy soils that are extremely poor in nutrients. These high altitude vineyards, at 400-600 meters, experience extreme diurnal shifts in temperature –scorching days and frigid nights. The grapes are destemmed and fermented with wild yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
Silky, spicy, and aromatic, this is a high-toned example of old vine Garnacha. Intense floral and berry aromas with lively acidity, mineral structure, and supple red berry fruit. Bright and succulent, totally sippable!
