Albet i Noya Curiós Xarel·lo is a white wine from Penedès prepared by the Albert y Noya cellar. This winery, located in Can Vendrell (Tarragona), was one of the first Spanish wineries to carry out organic winemaking processes.
Since 1972, Albert y Noya has produced organic wines with no added chemicals and very low sulphur levels.
Albet i Noya Curiós Xarel·lo is 100% made from the Xaralel·lo variety. The grapes come from old vines planted 30 years ago on limestone-clay soils with little organic matter.
In terms of development, both the harvest and the selection are made by hand. Once in the winery, one maceration and fermentation occurs for 19 days at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C to preserve the primary flavors.
